Arbourthorne Road is a tram stop on the South Yorkshire Supertram network, opened on 22 August 1994.[1] It is located on Park Grange Road, and is next to Norfolk Park Medical Practice.
This stop was opened along with the section between Fitzalan Square and Spring Lane in August 1994. It was extended to Gleadless Townend in December 1994 and further to Halfway in March 1995.[2]
Arbourthorne Road tram stop has two low-level staggered side platforms, situated on either side of the road. The trams share the road with other traffic.[3]
At the centre of each platform, passenger information displays stand and show estimated arrival times for trams.[4] There are also two short ramps at each end of the platforms, providing step-free access for passengers.[5]
The Blue route has a peak frequency of 5 trams per hour (every 12 minutes), and the Purple route runs hourly Monday−Saturday and every 30 minutes (peak frequency) on Sundays.[6]

Various bus services operate on the nearby East Bank Road and Eastern Avenue, including routes 41 (Woodhouse–Sheffield Interchange) and 51 (Charnock–Lodge Moor).
This tram stop is not directly connected to any railway stations, but Sheffield railway station is a 30 minute walk away, and can also be reached by tram.[7]
