Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana (transl. Magnifying glass Bhaskar Narayana) is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language mystery thriller drama film directed by Purushotham Raaj and stars Shiva Kandukuri and Rashi Singh.[1] The film was released on 1 March 2024.
Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana is about a village detective who gets involved in a case through a sequence of events. The basic setup showcases the disturbing truth that these are not ordinary murders but acts of human sacrifice as part of black magic rituals. Whether this rookie detective solves this issue is the basic crux of the film. Bhaskar navigates this dark mystery and hunts down the perpetrators. Will he be successful in solving this mystery behind the murders? Will he nab the serial killer against all odds?
The songs were composed by Sricharan Pakala and Vijai Bulganin.[2]

A critic from the Deccan Chronicle rated the film three out of five stars and wrote that "Overall, "Bhoothadham Bhaskar Narayana" is a commendable addition to the Telugu crime thriller genre, offering ample thrills and suspense. It's a must-watch for those craving a gripping thriller experience".[6] A critic from The Hans India wrote that "Ultimately, the film not only successfully sustains a solid level of intrigue until the end but also attests to the director's mastery in holding suspense, making 'Bhaskar Narayan's Bhutaddham' a promising and memorable addition to the Telugu thriller landscape".[7] A critic from 123Telugu rated the film 2.75 out of 5 and wrote that "On the whole, Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana has a fascinating premise, but the narration isn’t great enough to take the film to the next level".[8] A critic from The Times of India rated the film 2.5 out of 5 and wrote that "Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana stands out for its innovative blend of detective storytelling with mythological elements".[9]
