Farasfaj (Persian : فرسفج )[ a] is a city in, and the capital of, Qolqol Rud District of Tuyserkan County , Hamadan province, Iran .[ 4] It also serves as the administrative center for Qolqol Rud Rural District .[ 5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,608 in 443 households.[ 6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,721 people in 486 households.[ 7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,526 people in 457 households.[ 2]
