In No Man's Land, Gearhead competes for control of Gotham after it is ravaged by an earthquake, during which he allies with the thug Tommy Mangles.[5] The two are later defeated by Robin and arrested.[6]

Gearhead appears in the miniseries Rush City, where he is physically attached to his car and allies with Arthur Bellingame before being defeated by Rush and Black Canary.[7]

In Infinite Crisis, Gearhead joins Alexander Luthor Jr.'s Secret Society of Super Villains.[8]
