Ipatovsky District (Russian: Ипа́товский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-six in Stavropol Krai, Russia.[2] Municipally, it is incorporated as Ipatovsky Municipal District.[4] It is located in the north of the krai. The area of the district is 4,036 square kilometers (1,558 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Ipatovo.[2] Population: 62,751 (2010 Census);[3] 69,268 (2002 Census);[7] 64,725 (1989 Census).[8] The population of Ipatovo accounts for 41.5% of the district's total population.[3]
