Novoukrainka Raion is a raion (district) of Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine. The administrative center of the district is the town of Novoukrainka. Population: 138,842 (2022 estimate).[2]
On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Kirovohrad Oblast was reduced to four, and the area of Novoukrainka Raion was significantly expanded. Three abolished raions, Dobrovelychkivka, Mala Vyska, and Novomyrhorod Raions, were merged into Novoukrainka Raion.[3][4] The January 2020 estimate of the raion population was 39,968 (2020 est.).[5]
After the reform in July 2020, the raion consisted of 13 hromadas:[4]
Before the 2020 reform, the raion consisted of four hromadas:[9]
