Pont-Landry is a community in Gloucester County, New Brunswick, located at the junction of Inkerman, Saint-Isidore, and Saumarez Parishes. It was grouped with the communities of Boishébert, Gaspereau, and Losier Settlement in 1986[1] to form the local service district of Pont Landry, which was annexed by the Regional Municipality of Grand Tracadie–Sheila in 2014.[2]
In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada:
- Pont Landry part A had a population of 679 living in 293 of its 300 total private dwellings, a change of 2.6% from its 2016 population of 662. With a land area of 15.34 km2 (5.92 sq mi), it had a population density of 44.3/km2 (114.6/sq mi) in 2021.[3]
- Pont Landry part B had a population of 372 living in 167 of its 175 total private dwellings, a change of -7.5% from its 2016 population of 402. With a land area of 17.02 km2 (6.57 sq mi), it had a population density of 21.9/km2 (56.6/sq mi) in 2021.[3]
- Pont Landry part C had a population of 227 living in 87 of its 91 total private dwellings, a change of -15% from its 2016 population of 267. With a land area of 9.92 km2 (3.83 sq mi), it had a population density of 22.9/km2 (59.3/sq mi) in 2021.[3]
