Rakesh Pandey (born 27 August 1968) is an Indian writer and editor of Pravasi Sansar, a popular Indian magazine.[1][2]
He was born in Kasara, a village in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh on August 27, 1968.[3] He has earned his Doctorate (PhD) in Analytical Study of Awadhi Folk Natya and Hindi Natya Kala.[4]
He is known for having participated in several World Hindi Conferences. He once also interviewed the former Foreign minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj during the Vishwa Hindi Sammelan held in Bhopal.[5]
He is actively doing work for the promotion of Hindi and Awadhi.[6][7][8][9][10] Under the banner of "Hindi Bachao Munch", he has put a lot of work and effort to include other dialects of the Hindi Language in the Schedule 8 of the Indian Constitution.[11][12][13]
His magazine "Pravasi Sansar" completed 10 years of publication in 2016, and the celebratory occasion was graced by Mridula Sinha, then Governor of Goa and Virendra Sharma at the House of Commons, London.[14]
