Ramida Jiranorraphat (Thai: รมิดา จีรนรภัทร; born 19 June 1999), also known as Jane (Thai: เจน) or Janeyeh (Thai: เจนเย่), is a Thai-Taiwanese actress and singer. She is a former member of the girl group Sizzy under RISER MUSIC. She is best known for her leading roles in My Dear Loser: Edge of 17 (2017), The Gifted (2018), Home School (2023), and Beauty Newbie (2024).[1]

Early life and education

Ramida was born on 19 June 1999 in Bangkok, Thailand. She's half Taiwanese and half Thai.[2] Her Chinese name originally was Ye Zhen (Chinese: 葉臻; pinyin: Yè Zhēn), but it was later changed to Ye Zhiyu (Chinese: 葉芷妤; pinyin: Yè Zhǐyú).

She graduated from Sarasas Witaed Bangbon School by passing an equivalency test and enrolled directly into School of Communication Arts at the Bangkok University, obtaining her bachelor's degree in 2020.[1]

Career

Ramida entered the entertainment industry after placing 2nd runner up in the Miss Teen Thailand 2014. She previously auditioned for JYP Entertainment and YG Entertainment but failed to pass.[3] Later she made her acting debut in the television series Love Sick Season 2. After that, she went on to play main and support roles in several television series.[4] In the meantime, she signed under GMMTV and debuted as an idol under Sizzy (formerly known as Sissy) in November 2019,[5] before they officially disbanded in October 2024, following the expiration of Ramida's contract with GMMTV.[6]
