Robertsfors Municipality (Swedish: Robertsfors kommun) is a municipality in Västerbotten County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Robertsfors.
History
[edit]In 1759 the small village Edfastmark became Robertsfors Bruk. It was the Irishman John Jennings and his brother-in-law, the Scotsman Robert Finlay, who founded the new ironworks which also got its name, Robertsfors, from Robert Finlay.[3]

In total there were 6,781 residents, including 5,172 Swedish citizens of voting age.[5] 63.1% voted for the left coalition and 35.7% for the right coalition. Indicators are in percentage points except population totals and income.
