Chemical compound
Samarium(III) arsenate is an arsenate salt of samarium with the chemical formula SmAsO4 . It has good thermal stability, and its pKsp,c is 22.73±0.08.[ 3]
Samarium(III) arsenate can be produced by reacting sodium arsenate (Na3 AsO4 ) and samarium(III) chloride (SmCl3 ) in solution:[ 4]
Na3 AsO4 + SmCl3 → 3 NaCl + SmAsO4 ↓
