Do we really need all the (c)rappers who mention Hennessy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.180.194.67 (talk) 05:38, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is Kim Jong-il truly the largest consumer of Hennessy in the world? Can he prove that? Alexander 007 09:06, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I'm guessing that was a joke added by somebody in the article---though he does look like an alcoholic. Alexander 007 09:21, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No, I've come across several articles linking Kim Jong il to copious amounts of Hennessy a while back. A Google search linking both terms will document it for you: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Kim+Jong+il++Hennessy&spell=1 --Hooperbloob 20:25, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Martell (yes, of the Cognac) apparently drinks nothing but Hennessy. 82.176.196.155 20:16, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jas

[edit]

What's the abbreviation Ja^s? Is this a known French abbreviation? An invention of Fillioux's? — eitch 02:45, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the curious thing: Jas is an old-fashioned conventional abbreviated spelling of James. But it states in the History section that the Christian name of the company's founder was Richard. So who was James? Nuttyskin (talk) 14:35, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced trivia

[edit]

Here is a bunch of unsourced trivia that was moved from the article. As we get independent, third party reliable sources, they should be re added. Independent, reliable sources are vital in establishing the encyclopedic relevance. AgneCheese/Wine 15:51, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia List as "Popularity" Section

[edit]

I've been bold and gutted some content in the "Popularity" section. It was basically a trivia list, stating that the brand was mention by "Artists such as ..." followed by a comically long and unsourced list of rappers. It's bad writing, unsourced, and just a bad implementation of a trivia list. Sorry if I offended anyone. 173.164.86.190 (talk) 20:31, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jaz Hennessy?

[edit]

"Jaz" seems to be nonsense, introduced four months ago by 142.31.10.42. 85.216.70.6 (talk) 21:16, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it seems you're right. Now reverted. Tomas e (talk) 16:49, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
