an album that collects the most iconic poems and fables of the recognized Colombian writer and poet Rafael Pombo. --> This idea should be talked about in the beginning of the para when Vives decided to create a musical
At present I would say I'm extremely dissatisfied with the prose. Each and every sentence in the lead and the first para I have had to highlight. I am asking the nominator, Luisnh1210, to immediately copy edit the article, else I will have to fail it because of major prose concern. Please put it through a peer review first and then nominate. —Indian:BIO[ ChitChat ]16:00, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi DepressedPer, would prefer if you did not strike out the comments and let me decide on that. Coming to the article, are you going to do a copyedit of the article for prose concerns also? —Indian:BIO[ ChitChat ]06:33, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that. Seeing that the original nominator has made less of an appearance in both GA talks, I might as well take the position. DepressedPer (talk) 12:20, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wonderful, so I think the first section I have more or less reviewed, but the second and third section I want you to copyedit the prose first and then I will continue. Because as you saw, I had to list some other problem in each and every sentence, which was defeating. —Indian:BIO[ ChitChat ]12:36, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
IndianBio I'm sorry, do you want me put those two points together into a new paragraph and/or mentioned the last point in the Lead? DepressedPer (talk) 18:28 7 August 2015 (UTC)
Vives and his brother perform the bambuco "La Pobre Viejecita" ("The Little Poor Old Woman"), which tells the story of an old women who is very unhappy and dies alone.[18] "La Tia Pasitrote" ("The Pasitrote Aunt"), performed by Ilona, is a rock funk song about the adventures of a crazy aunt.[19] The album clsoer, "Juan Matachín", performed by Julio Navas, tells about a widespread fear of Juan Matachín General.[20]
There is a problem with the sentences, its all in the same monotonic flow → performer, song composition, song story. Can we have a copyedit to remove the monotony a bit and rephrase?
The tracklisting needs producer info also like the beginning, "All songs written and composed by Rafael Pombo"
Doing that would mean having to use the note parameter for the performers. The producer parameter in the infobox shows that Vives is mostly working on the album. DepressedPer (talk) 07:14, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
