Is there any possibility of finding out where Romance studies are heavily used or where they initiated originally from? Who are some individuals00:43, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Dante0526 (talk) who have contributed to Romance studies?
I don't have the book available just now, so I can't give pages, but for the question of origins of Romance Philology, the most thorough account is still the opening chapters of Carlo Tagliavini's Le origini delle lingue neolatine, preferably an edition 1969 or later.
As for the assumption in the article that Romance Studies = Romance Philology... I know or know of quite a few people who "do" Romance studies who would be very surprised to learn that they're Romance philologists. Barefoot through the chollas (talk) 20:47, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi everyone! I've made some pretty sizeable edits to the page, feel free to edit and move around anything you find incorrect. I'm very new to Wikipedia editing, but I'd love to become more fluent in understanding how to properly format my chosen pages. I look forward to cooperating with all of you. :) Yennyferr (talk) 02:17, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
