There are mistakes of English in text, such as the use of "But in" instead of "However, in". Therefore, I am correcting these mistakes. I've been trying to correct these mistakes, but the changes I make are constantly reversed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.164.3.22 (talk) 10:25, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

About the removal of the template:Friendly association football tournaments in South America from this article I must leave my point of view about the status of this competition. Well, the word "friendly" may be confusing so "unofficial" could be a more accurate term. The fact that Conmebol recongised the tournament as a predecessor to Copa Libertadores, does not mean this tournament is "official".
Moreover, Conmebol can´t give official status to a tournament not organised by them. In the same way, FIFA has no influence on regional (in this case South American) competitions. As Conmebol was founded in 1916 and the 1948 Campeonato de Campeones" was held decades after, we can´t give official status to a competition organised by club Colo-Colo.
