Sculptor

[edit]

@Zeete: have you found out anything further about the sculptor? wikt:fratelli is Italian for brothers, so Fratelli Gianfranchi probably means Gianfranchi brothers. I can't find anything useful online. TSventon (talk) 15:12, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@TSventon: That's all I could find, even after spending some time searching. I wanted to clarify that Eyre was not the sculptor, but the owner. If you find more, please add it to the article. Thanks, Zeete (talk) 15:18, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have asked at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Humanities#Fratelli Gianfranchi. TSventon (talk) 15:33, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Zeete: RDH agree that fratelli means brothers, but haven't found much more. I have looked at other Wikidata items beginning Fratelli and would suggest using instance of business rather than instance of human, sex or gender male in the Wikidata item. It may have been a one, two or multi- person business, but we don't know which. TSventon (talk) 14:10, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@TSventon: Thanks for your help. I'll update the Wikidata item. Zeete (talk) 14:54, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
