I do agree Satpanth should be on here, and I am thankful for Alevi that he or she put it there, however it is not a branch unique from the Nizari, since it accepts the Aga Khan IV as the Hazar Imam. So, I will put it in 'History' because we don't really have a section for miscellaneous yet important items. --Enzuru 23:36, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Satpanth is a term used to refer to north Indian Isma'ilism, it is not a separate denomination, although to complicate matters their are Psdo Hindus who "reverted" back to Hinduism but not entirely who also regard themselves as Satpanth, they could not be regarded as Isma'ili. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Water Stirs (talk • contribs) 13:32, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Would it be possible to add a show/hide feature to this template? Because it is extremely long and in some cases carries on for longer than the article itself (e.g. Fatimids). Or perhaps a horizontal version could be made to go at the bottoms of pages. --Yenemus (talk) 13:59, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
As I know anti-Shia figure such as Mahmud of Ghazni consider them as Shia while Ismaili Hujjat, Nasir Khusraw, didn't consider them Shia in his Safarnama. --Seyyed(t-c) 06:17, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
The Qarmatians were indeed Isma'ili, They were Sevener Isma'ili holding that Imam Isma'il was the Mahdi and would return at the end of time. This differs considerably from Fatimid Isma'ilism. Perhaps Sevener Isma'ili deserve a mention? However to save this from becoming overly complicated would we not place a new category of extinct groups? to differentiate between current Isma'ili who all trace their roots to Fatimid Isma'ilism. Articles listed in a navigation template should display a standard, simplified rendition of the article topic. The reason being, a navigation template is meant to link articles for cross-topic reference whereas each individual article should provide a phonetic rendition if needed. An example would be Ismailism instead of Ismāʿīlism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nizariyya (talk • contribs) 10:45, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
Agree. How do we gather consensus on this? Murtaza.aliakbar (talk) 09:35, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
It is too long. I am inclined to rename it to just "Incumbent Dā'īs" for the sake of layout.
It looks like this discussion group is inactive, and so, I'm inclined to press ahead with the changes in about 10 days time, if no opposition is voiced here. Murtaza.aliakbar (talk) 09:37, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
