This template is a non-sense. It mixes music from the European traditional music (Spain) to music from Spain's former colonies, with Rock, Pop etc. and all under the title "Music in Spanish". So, "in Spanish", then what happens with the music that has no words, and therefore is sung in no language? On top, this is part of the project "Latin America". Then, why is Spain included? I suggest that this template is either deleted or substantially improved. I would go for the first one. --Karljoos (talk) 14:05, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Because the purpose of the template is to include Hispanophone music, not simply music of Latin America (which excludes non Spanish-speaking Latin America speaking countries). As for the WikiProject, it was placed there by a bot when everything under the category "Latin American music" was tagged back when a task force called "Latin American music task force" existed. It has since evolved into "WikiProject Latin music" which includes Spanish-language music from Latin America, Spain, and the United States. Erick (talk) 08:40, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm trying to add more genres to this template, but I can't get it right. Could someone look at some previous revisions and state what I did wrong? 47.36.25.163 (talk) 19:42, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
