Troy Hashimoto is an American politician who currently represents the 5th district in the Hawaii Senate. He previously served in the Hawaii House of Representatives, first elected after longtime incumbent Democrat Joseph Souki resigned after allegations of sexual assault by several women.[3] He previously was executive assistant to Maui County Council Chair Mike White.[4]
In November 2023, Hashimoto was appointed to represent District 5 in the Hawaii Senate following the resignation of Democrat Gilbert Keith-Agaran.[5]
