Timothy Allan (or Tim Allan), is the former chair, Young Enterprise Scotland, Glasgow, Scotland.[1] In 2010, he was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion.[2]
Allan was on the BIG Lottery Fund's Scottish committee.
After working in private wealth management, Allan founded Unicorn Property, named after the museum ship HMS Unicorn.[3] His company was responsible for the £75 million City Quay development in Dundee.[4]
In 2011 it was reported that he was one of "two leading Scots businessmen" appointed to head the fundraising board of V&A at Dundee.[5]
In 2014 he was appointed president of the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce.[6]
