You can't put RfCs at the top of a talk page like you did on Talk:Australian Christian Lobby. We have sections so the discussion can be chronological.Curb Chain (talk) 14:27, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
Can you please look at the Talk pages and edits by DGG on Yeshiva College and let me know if that is legit and reasonable. I don't like the censorship going on unless there has been a breach of guidelines.
Can you reply by email to me mikeybear69@gmail.com if possible.
Thanks.

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute in which you may have been involved. Content disputes can hold up article development, therefore we request your participation in the discussion to help find a resolution. The thread is "Australian Christian Lobby". Thank you! EarwigBot operator / talk 09:59, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for adding the Montanists to Unfulfilled Christian religious predictions - I believe that belongs there. I notice you didn't add the 1st century prediction, and I think that's probably the right decision. Not only is there a dispute over whether Jesus or Paul predicated an apocalyptic event, but also over what event(s) they might have been referring to. StAnselm (talk) 01:52, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Hi Freikorp. You and I were posting on the SNL talk page at the same time. You can see my comments there. Btw, I meant no offense in my edit comment; I simply said "please get consensus". I know you opened a discussion - which I really appreciate - but there was no participation. In any case, I do apologize if I hurt your feelings. Thanks and have a wonderful new year! --76.189.98.149 (talk) 06:10, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Forgot to mention... great job on noticing the cross symbol being used. I totally agree with your thoughts on that. Also, you said "It's been two weeks since I removed the content, and your revert has been the first reaction". Although it's the first reaction, the reason is because the article is relatively inactive - it only gets a few edits a month, which is why I'm not surprised at all that there were no comments on the talk page. --76.189.98.149 (talk) 06:13, 30 December 2012 (UTC) 06:26, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your work on List of dates predicted for apocalyptic events. I suppose you've checked out the article's traffic statistics? It's down to only a few thousand a day, after peaking at 136,000. StAnselm (talk) 23:13, 8 January 2013 (UTC) |
Thanks for creating the article. I was just about to write you about the red links. Widr (talk) 07:52, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
On 7 February 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Dami Mission, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the founder of the Dami Mission church predicted the world would end on October 28, 1992, but used donations from his followers to purchase bonds that did not mature until after that date? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Dami Mission. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Hey man, I'm sorry I didn't correctly cite the edit I made earlier today. I put my rationale in the talk page, but not in the edit description itself. All the pop culture stuff pertaining to Shake and Bake and not Shake 'n Bake I put in the disambiguation page. The Simpsons ref was the only one that actually had anything to do with the Kraft food product, which is why I left it. Would it be alright if I restored the edit? — Muckapedia (talk) 14e mars 2013 16h23 (−4h)

Membership report
The parent Christianity WikiProject currently has 357 active members. We would like to welcome our newest members, Thomas Cranmer, Mr.Oglesby, and Sneha Priscilla. Thank you all for your interest in this effort. We would be able to achieve nothing here without the input of all of you. If any members, new or not, wish any assistance, they should feel free to leave a message at the Christianity noticeboard or with me or other individual editors to request it.
From the Editor
We apologise for the hiatus in the publication of this newsletter due to unforseen circumstances leading to the wikibreak of John Carter, and so I have taken over as acting editor, and have taken this opportunity to move the publication date to the start of each month as planned, to better reflect on the previous month and look ahead to the next. This issue covers the period of time from mid-January to the end of March.
Since the last issue we have seen the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI and the election of Pope Francis. This has received much coverage both in the world media and on Wikipedia. While there is still much work to do, several quality articles have been written and the editors involved are thanked for their efforts.
This month we look ahead to Easter and the celebration of God's love for mankind through the crucifixion and resurrection of his Son Jesus Christ. With that, I wish you all happy reading!
P.S. Please click here to add the new Christianity noticeboard to your watchlist to follow the latest discussions relevant to WikiProject Christianity and subprojects.

Church of the month
This image of the Church of Saint Ildefonso, Portugal by Poco a poco was recently promoted to Featured Image. Thank you and congratulations for the great image!
Contest of the month
No particular contest this month. I am however getting rather close to getting together a more or less complete set of articles relating to different areas of Christianity which can be found in recent reference sources on the broad topic of Christianity, and about various subtopics, which I hope to have finished in the next few weeks. I wonder what the rest of you might think of, maybe, making the contests of future months be basically directed at filling in the gaps of our existing coverage of topics, like those topics given significant coverage in specialized reference works which we don't yet have content on, and giving the thanks, and rewards, whatever they might be, to those who create and develop such content. I am starting a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Christianity noticeboard#Future contests, and would very much welcome any input from interested parties in how to set it up, determine winners including how many winners, etc.

Christian art
Spotlight
The Spotlight this month turns to the the Jesus work group. The scope of this project includes the life and teachings of the central figure of Christianity, Jesus Christ and aims to write about them in a non-denominational encylopædic style. Top-priority articles include Jesus, Christ, Resurrection of Jesus, and Holy Grail, whereas High-priority articles include Aramaic Language, a former FA, as well as Sermon on the Mount, Lamb of God, and Passion (Christianity). The workgroup has also published two books, covering Christ's final days and the Parables of Jesus. The workgroup has two GAs, Nativity scene, and Jesus in Islam, but unfortunately the flagship article, Jesus was delisted in 2009. It is also responsible for three WP:1.0 articles, and the WikiWork of the project is 4.56, which indicates the "average" article is between Start and C class.

Calendar
This coming month (end-March through end-April) includes Easter Sunday in Western Christianity and both Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday for the Eastern Orthodox Church. Other major feasts in the next month include those of Saint George, Saint Mark the Evangelist, Saint Stanislaus, James, son of Zebedee, and Benedict the Moor.
Help requests
Please let us know if there are any particular areas, either individual articles or topics, which you believe would benefit from outside help from a variety of other editors. We will try to include such requests in future issues.
"members of the public"
Is a broad sweeping statement without factual evidence
There is no subsequent balance or context
"A group of Australian Christians"
There are millions, which group?
How is a segment of 250 people form a public narrative?

Hey there, sorry for the late response but I wanted to get a third opinion first. It's true that I didn't read the entire article at Slutdrop, so I didn't want it to appear as though I was defending a mistaken revert. But besides the initial reasoning given, there are other problems with linking to Slutdrop. It is very tangentially related, and only by an opinionated claim made by someone at the Guardian. No one has explicitly made the connection between Slutwalks and Slutdrops in the sources. That's why I don't think it's an appropriate addition to the article at this time, with the sources available. PraetorianFury (talk) 17:28, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Just wanted to say great work overhauling the article, but please note that the awards section will need to be sourced, whether it's one citation used for all of the awards or individual citations as appropriate. While more tedious, the advantage of the latter approach would be that if editors change the awards table later it will still (hopefully) be clear which awards track to which sources. Happy Editing! I'm a regular volunteer at the Third Opinion project. Your request has been removed due to the lack of any recent, much less thorough, talk page discussion about the dispute. Indeed, there's an argument to be made that when there's been no editing or discussion about a dispute for a considerable period of time that consensus by silence or by acquiescence has occurred and that there is no longer a dispute at all. Consensus can, of course, change: you can raise the issue again at the article talk page or start a request for comments, and if you come to an impasse then try dispute resolution, but at this point in time there's really nothing for dispute resolution to handle. Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Murder of Leigh Leigh you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Hi, I've attempted to address the points you raised in your review of the above article; I think I've covered everything you noted, with the exception of the missing image point (which I've decided not to touch myself because I'm not comfortable with the idea of uploading images and related copyright status issues). I'm not sure what the subsequent process is (this was the first time I'd every nominated an article for GA status). Please have a look and then let me know where to go from here (and BTW, thanks for reviewing the article and congratulations on your first review).Vulcan's Forge (talk) 02:38, 31 July 2014 (UTC)

Congratulations to you for your work in this article. I'm glad that this article is nominated for DYK. I'm still interested in this murder but I haven't got any further information since last year. I realised that there isn't any video footage on the Internet about this case and last year, I sent an e - mail to Crime and Investigation Australia for the possibility of making a documentary of it. They replied me that they'll see. Also I wanted to look some old articles from Newcastle Herald and I sent an e - mail to them too, but they hadn't replied. So, as I'm living in Turkey, I have no other choice that having further information. I'm so glad that you got the book and used it for improving this article. I think you did a great job. :)MaddyRockFan (talk) 22:19, 12 August 2014 (UTC)

I've changed the hook in Prep 4 as I can't imagine what a "radio song" is, but I thought I'd let you know as might want to object to my high-handed, devil-may-care, swashbuckling prep editing style. Hi, Freikorp. I saw your note at WT:VG and I checked my copies of the magazine. Indeed there is a small infobox about the game in Issue 72 at page 52 and the quotation is accurate. The full citation is this:
No idea why this is part of a D&D article but that probably explains why the eBay seller couldn't find it. In addition there is minor coverage in a few other issues where the PAL version of the game is discussed in relation to its rarity. So in Issue #20, the magazine notes that the game normally sells for over £30 on the secondary market. Then in Issue #112 it is listed alongside four other games as the "Mega Drive Top Rarest PAL Games" where the text states "Capcom arrived all too late to add another side scrolling beat-'em-up to their catalogue, leaving The Punisher to sell in small quantities, despite being and enjoyable brawler.
" The citations for these claims are listed here:
There are a few other tiny mentions in other issues, but nothing very usable in the article. I'm not even sure if these factoids can be worked into the article, but if they can then great. Good luck with the article! -Thibbs (talk) 04:09, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

{{Admin help}}
As per my last DYK nomination, I was told to "use the move function instead of copy-pasting from [my] sandbox [next time I create an article]." Curious, I gave it a go, except now the new article I created (Saumarez Homestead) embarrassingly contains the 4 years of edit history of my sandbox. Can someone please delete the history of this new article previous to the page move? You don't have to restore the sandbox history to its original location - there's nothing in the history that is useful to me, i'd just rather not have my sandbox history on public display. Another user has since kindly explained to me when and when not to use the move function. Thanks. Freikorp (talk) 04:14, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

Hello. I need an administrator to un-protect the page Trent from Punchy from being created. The article has been blocked from creation since 2008, and since then not only has the subject made more appearances but considerably more reliable sources have also mentioned him. I intend to copy-paste my subpage into said article: see [2]. I apologise if there is a more appropriate way to request this; I have not had this issue before. Thank you. For your request on the Lum You article, I'd say that it meets the criteria for length if you believe that the article has reasonably covered the topic. For articles like this based on the subject matter, it may be difficult to find sources to further expand the article. I typically look into the citations provided if readily accessible and see if the editors have covered the main elements of the article. Usually a quick Google search will help point out if there is something else to be covered. I may also come at it from a different angle, suggesting additional sections that could be added, and allow the editors time to expand if necessary. If you've approached this review by considering these and there is no further expansion that can be reasonably added, then the length should be sufficient for GA. If the editors are continuing on to FA, they'll likely need to make sure they've exhausted all potential sources. Let me know if that helps or if you want additional input. --Happy editing! Just a quick note to congratulate you on the promotion of The Fifth Element to FA status recently. If you would like to see this (or any other FA) appear as "Today's featured article" soon (either on a particular date or on any available date), please nominate it at the requests page. If you'd like to see an FA appear on a particular date in the next year or so, please add it to the "pending" list. In the absence of a request, the article may end up being picked at any time (although with about 1,287 articles waiting their turn at present, there's no telling how long – or short! – the wait might be). If you'd got any TFA-related questions or problems, please let me know. I ought to have congratulated you earlier on the promotion of the Leigh Leigh article, which will be TFA soon. Excellent work. I just discovered that it was you who wrote the article Murder of Leigh Leigh. It's quite well written. I just spent two hours reading it carefully and making a number of minor edits. However, I haven't saved them yet. I know, as the article's author, you might cringe at the thought of a lot of edits, but I assure you that mine are all minor and that you would be happy with most, if not all, of them. Would you mind reading the comment I left at User talk:Magioladitis#Murder of Leigh Leigh? As I've been waiting for a reply, a few additional edits have been made. I hate to lose all the work I have done. Can you suggest a solution that does not involve saving each edit individually, which would take quite a bit of time? CorinneSD (talk) 00:24, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
I must have been looking at the revision history for another article. But the issue is the same. If I save all my edits, all the edits that have been made to the article in the last 40 minutes will disappear. Can those edits, which are quite short and simple, be made again after I save my edits?
