Hey Dwai, hope you are alright. Anyways, I will retire on Thursday, because I don't have time to edit Wikipedia and also greatly lost interest. But don't worry, I will return, but don't know when. Thanks for being such a great and kind friend.--Jionpedia ✉ 19:01, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

I really disagree with your reassessment as low importance. A tiny village in Mizoram low importance and Priyanka Chopra also low importance? I'd say the top film stars in the country are at least mid importance.♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:26, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
Zinta is now low importance, but Kapoor and Chopra and that cricketer mid-importance IMO. Perhaps this should be brought up at the Indian noticeboard.♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:26, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
How can an article which gets 220,000 page views a month be ranked lowest importance?♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:51, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure though why you're going through assessing, I think it's a waste of time and makes little difference to the article or people working on it, but it's up to you what you do with your time of course! Probably not worth bringing it up but in assessing something I'd also look at page views a month as a deciding factor.♦ Dr. Blofeld 07:53, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for your input at the FAC Dwai! BTW I've made a proposal Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics which might interest you.♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:22, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Re: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengal
Hello. I was looking up information on Bengal and found the wiki article to be long on the history of East Bengal/Bangladesh and short on West Bengal. Also, short shrift is given to the Hindu culture of Bengal and Hindu rule seems to be cast in a negative light with words such as "invasion" and "infiltration" while Muslim rulers are referenced in only neutral or positive terms. One must note that the non-Muslim history of Bengal stretches back much longer than its Muslim history. Most disturbingly, a thorough section on the East/West Pakistan conflict is followed by a very brief paragraph on West Bengal that makes it seem like a disaster of a state compared to the nation of Bangladesh.
I'm wondering who authored the article and if the author had been aware of his/her own biases.
I would appreciate if the editors/authors of this article would contribute a balance of objective, nonjudgmental material on Bengal's history, culture, demographics, and politics.
Thank you for reading. Windust00 (talk) 21:33, 17 November 2013 (UTC)windust00
The article Hindu pilgrimage sites in India has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:23, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

The best Indian film I've ever seen. The old woman in it was awesome!! I'd love to help you promote it. Offhand I'd say the lead could use considerable expansion.♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:47, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
Mmmm... I read the Times of India article and yes, probably " being one of the most celebrated child actors in the industry once" and being the subject of a film by an award-winning director is a convincing claim of notability. Yes, you can create the stub but remember to add a reference to this ToI article (if it was included I would had not reverted it). My best, Cavarrone 21:09, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

2013 was one hell of a year. While it gave us some great movies (The Lunchbox, Kai Po Che!, Lootera, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag etc.) and some record-breaking blockbusters (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express, Dhoom 3), it also gave us some really sad moments (the deaths of Pran, Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela, Farooque Sheikh, re-crimilisation of homosexuality, typhoons and cycolones like Phailin and Haiyan). Nevertheless, I ain't gonna miss 2013, so have a happy 2014 ahead! Yours truly, --Jionpedia ✉ 19:16, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
