Hi.

I just noticed the bunch of identically-worded notices you just posted to WT:CRIC.

Firstly, if you used an automated tool, it is buggy, as you misspelt "featured".

Secondly, the messages as posted are fairly useless when it comes to actually fixing the pages, and the fact that you appear to have simply copied and pasted the message several times is extraordinary. It would be much more useful if you would instead post a message such as:

I have significant concerns about the featured list status of the following pages:

• list

for the following reasons:

• list

I intend to nominate them for featured list review in a few days' time if these concerns are not dealt with.

Such a message would, I think, be far better received and far more useful to its recipients.

Yes, I agree: you've left two incredibly unhelpful, generic messages on my talk page. You've just linked to the requirements page without even remotely discussing why you think it isn't a featured list! I've read through the FL criteria many times and fail to see in any way how the two pages fail to meet the standards. Could you please be more careful & clearer with your concerns in the future? I'd say that they all could use a clean up. List of Australian ODI cricketers, List of Hong Kong ODI cricketers, List of Indian ODI cricketers strike me as the worst ones, while the others have mostly minor, mostly easily fixable concerns. I would suggest that you first leave a message for the cricket wikiproject, but I have suggested to them that they clean up some of their FLs before and they usually only improve pages that are nominated for removal. -- Scorpion⁰⁴²² 01:25, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Since I verified it, it is probably now either at the Next Update page or in the queue waiting to go to the main page. Nominations don't get moved directly from the suggestions page to the main page; rather, they get prepared at Next Update and then put in a queue, which a bot automatically moves to the main page once every 4 hours. I think capitalisation should be okay in this case. Note that PETCO Park redirects to Petco Park anyway, and that the article says, "Since the retailer spells its name in all capital letters, mere initial capitalization as 'Petco Park' is not correct." I plan to nominate the Pirates one soon, there are three or four other baseball manager lists at FLC right now so I was gonna wait until at least one passed. I will work on the Penguins one the next time I have some time to work, it needs a lead expansion and sourcing, but it shouldn't be too difficult. I copy-edited the article and left three hidden comments for you to address. In addition, you need to check the images beforehand, or get someone to check them for you.
