The cell membrane is also known as plasma membrane. It is the outermost boundary of cell, however in most plant cells , it is covered by cell wall.It is composed mainly of proteins and lipids, about 60-80% proteins and 20-40% lipids. In addition , there is a small quantity of carbohydrate. Many biologists contributed to established the structural organization of cell membrane. In 1935, Danielli and Davson proposed that cell membrane is composed of three layers. It was further suggested by Harvey and Davson in 1938 that cell membrane is composed of lipid bilayer sand witched between two protein molecules while In 1972 S.J Singer and G.L Nicolson that it is not sand witched between two protein molecules, In fact, proteins are embedded in a lipid bilayer in a mosaic manner —Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.153.18.92 (talk) 12:03, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
I came upon the Todd Gallagher page last year and found that it had a tone that I found to be more appropriate for public relations than an encyclopedic entry, as well as factual errors and a general lack of citations. I made a number of changes which were reversed by user WikiCorrect7. Then I redid edits more conservatively and made additional comments on the talk page. The user has continued to reverse my edits--such as "citation needed" flags--and delete many of my comments from the talk page. I'm not sure what to do at this point because I don't want to get into an edit war. In fact, I made a comment on the talk page to that effect but the comment was deleted. Thanks for your input. I saw today Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves is back in the article space now. It's come a long way since I originally proposed it for deletion. Well done! Feezo (Talk) 10:19, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

I am not the one who are doing disruptive edits. And stop threatening other editors. I have given a reference in Indo-Pakistani war of 1965 regarding to territorial changes from a reliable source according to Wikipedia. So stop targeting others because when there is a critical issue both sides of the picture must be given. Thank you. M.A.R 1993 (talk) 07:57, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

I note that you proposed Nature and scope of social study for deletion but forgot to inform the author (whose first and so far only edit on Wikipedia was creating the article). The PROD itself seems totally uncontroversial, so I've now posted the relevant message to his talk page. PWilkinson (talk) 19:11, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:SSC Crest.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude2 (talk) 05:30, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
You recently made this edit which removed a fair use image book cover I had in the article. I was wondering if there was a good reason for the removal of the book image, or whether you had simply forgotten to readd it to the article after updating the material there. In particular, I would like to know if there is a good policy related reason for the image to be removed from the article. If you can provide one then I'll be happy to delete the image, otherwise I'd like to see it reinserted into the book article. TomStar81 (Talk) 08:54, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
Hello. I have not posted in this article for more than five years. The blocked wikipedia user SKD Marketing probably stands for Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, a public institution among the most prominent museums in the world. So far I have no doubt about the probity of this user (regarding both copyrights and also NPOV) and I think he was blocked in error. Steffen Kaufmann (talk) 16:48, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. My local store had an early release - I went into Dymocks looking for a textbook and saw ARMY OF THIEVES sitting there. I read it in one sitting. The plot summary was actually pretty hard to write because there was so much to be covered and it had to be succinct. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 23:11, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

I notice you changed the preceding novel of Scarecrow and The Army of Thieves to Hell Island. This is incorrect. The preceding novel to Scarecrow and The Army of Thieves is actually Scarecrow, as stated by Matthew Reilly in the interview at the back of Scarecrow and The Army of Thieves, where he states on page 395: "For the record, in my mind Scarecrow and The Army of Thieves follows on directly from Scarecrow." You will have noticed that I have changed the Scarecrow and Hell Island articles to reflect this. While Hell Island was published in between the publishings of Scarecrow and Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves, and your point that Hell Island falls between these two, it only does so chronologically by publishing date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.188.59.239 (talk)
Dear Stickee; Hope this meets you well? I want to commend you on you good work; however I am sure you are mistaken in some areas. 1. There are a lot more Christians than Muslims in Nigeria. Where did you get your own information from? Please check reliable sources like the World Bank Data-set or surveys carried out by The Nigerian Bureau of Statistics for this information. You probably got your information from the CIA website; that information is false. 2. Nigeria is not an Arabic country? I believe the language that you are aiming for is Hausa. Why don't you write in that language and not Arabic? 3. In the Article on USA, France, Germany and the UK; you don't have pictures of Negroes burning during the days of segregation and slavery and you don't have a picture of the horrors of the World Wars. Why is it that you try to stereotype us by having a picture of a starving girl during the long forgotten Biafra War? Most Nigerians don't even know about that war. Shouldn't that be on another page? Why did you not put up the pictures of the second largest man-made structure (once the first)"The walls of benin": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walls_of_Benin or even :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sungbo%27s_Eredo or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agbani_Darego, or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oluchi_Onweagba? Do you really mean to say that picture you have selected is more relevant than all these? Is this really how you reported for other countries? 4. There are a lot of Modern scenes in Nigeria. Why choose the ones you have here? This is the article people will look at when learning about Nigeria. You don't have to lie; why don't you tell the truth and give honest journalistic views and stop stereotyping? Finally If you don't have information from a reliable source, just don't talk about the issue. There have been many Kingdoms in Nigeria not just the Benin Kingdom; there was the Oyo Kingdom, the Hausa Caliphate and the Igbos had a flourishing and specific dynasty. I hope you will live up to the expectations of honesty, professionalism and goodwill. Please correct your article. Thank you, Have a good day. Hey guys!
I'm dropping you a note because you filled out the New Page Patrol survey, and indicated you'd be interested in being contacted about follow-up work. This is to notify you that we've finally released both the initial documentation about the project and also the engagement strategy, which sets out how we plan to work with the community on this. Please give both a read, and leave any comments or suggestions you have on the talkpage, on my talkpage, or in my inbox - okeyeswikimedia.org.
It's awesome to finally get to start work on this! :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 02:44, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
The current holder of this IP address (90.201.63.159) has just seen a message on Wikipedia dated 22/10/2010 advising them that their entry on "Splash Screens" was vandalism and further such updates would result in them being blocked. The current user took over this address at the end of October 2011 and does not wish to be blocked from Wikipedia. They would not know how to update a Wikipedia page in English, anyway.
Best wishes (and thanks for all that Wikipedia continues to achieve) 90.201.63.159 (talk) 15:46, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

You gave the subject article a checkmark on August 11th - vote of confidence much appreciated! The page has now been tagged for deletion, but I would obviously like to strive to improve the page rather than having it removed. Would be grateful if you could comment on the deletion thread as to why you thought the page was acceptable ... or also provide useful feedback on how I can continue to improve it. Many thanks! This is in reply to the request for semi-protection by that user on Bigg Boss 8 talk page. [1] I somewhat agree with him. The section [2] is mere speculation. None of the citations provided are reliable and such information before the launch of a reality show can be perceived as a potential 'spoiler'. Furthermore it is absolutely unnecessary. I do not know if you are the Wikipedia Administrator who had this article removed twice, but the Wikipedia administrators have collectively been censoring this topic.
The topic and the conclusion it was a hate crime has not only been reported in "fringe" papers (which I guess is code for "gay" by the Wikipedia administrators) but by mainstream papers and television stations (NBC, ABC, Fox) in Philadelphia. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia shares this viewpoint as evidenced by its comments on the crime.
Wikipedia should contain articles on hate crimes, which reflect on both American society and human nature.
I would be fine with edits and improvements to this article, but am very disappointed with the Wikipedia censorship machine that removed the article in its entirety twice.
Please note that in the brief times the article was posted other users added substantially to the references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AA4455121 (talk • contribs) 12:28, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

I've never seen anything like it in my life. Anyway, Look I'm trying to add this tidbit of information to Nikes wiki page, I was hoping whoever had the juice to edit this page would read my post and basically summarize it a little by copy and pasting the pertinent information, I'm sure you can see what needs to be posted and what does not, whilst still giving the whole story about the pop culture influence that back to the future part 3 had on Nike's legendary brand name pronunciation......that's why I said whoever gets this post not to let it go to waste. The link to NetMarket isn't included and I would like for this to be as the company is still a going concern as opposed to the Internet Shopping Network (the link points to Randy Adam's personal Wikipedia entry). And have found the original New York Times article from 8/12/94 mentioning the first secure transaction so would like to use this instead of the CNET article. And is it possible to have this linked to from "first secure transaction over the Web" as opposed to be included as a footnote [7]?

Hello Stickee. First of all I wanted to apologize of my english mistakes, I am a french student. In the case of my study, for a class assignment me and my friends as a workgroup have to build from A to Z a wikipedia page and we chose the subject "Vincent Callebaut". We are actually facing a problem with it because our page is only a draft page at the moment and when we are trying to do some link in, the link goes on Floating Ecopolis because it is redirected with the Vincent Callebaut page already existing and which is just completed with "#REDIRECTED...".
I wanted if it is possible to fix this problem and have some links in for our Vincent Callebaut page. Let me know if I can do something, if you can do something, but please let me know what will be next. Our dead line to put page online is on the 7th of December.
Thank you to take in charge my consideration.

The changes I made were purely factual;
Kate Elliot did not close her account, it was hacked, as she stated in one of her earliest vlogs on her new channel KateInRealLife.
Cory's cat Sparta is called poo, relating to his brown colour. The diffirence between that and Moo isnt always evident but in some videos, for example the DudeLikeHELLA video "I'm becoming a redneck" it is very obvious that he is on fact called Poo.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "not constructive", I only changed 2 phrases.

Hi, since only today I logged in, I just saw your message, I was really surprised and hurt...I answered here (Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Thehoboclown) as you wished. FromOradea is a frustrated fantasta, I really don't know how I deserved to be his target, I will also write him personally. Please check my answers and make a comment if you wish, Thank You (KIENGIR (talk) 23:15, 16 December 2014 (UTC))

I have on several occasions expressed resentment against you, for filing a WP:3RR case against me on a technicality. I just want to say that I now believe that by filing that case against me, you were acting in good faith and trying to build an encyclopedia. Stickee,

This is a courtesy notice to inform you that a request for arbitration, which named you as a party, has been declined to be heard by the Committee. The arbitrators felt that they would rather see this issue brought to WP:AE for enforcement of the discretionary sanctions which are already authorised for the topic area. Please see the the Arbitrators' opinions for further potential suggestions on moving forward.
