Well now you have a Template:Very long section - Wikipedia, the information about the ESPN covered in the barstool sports page. Basically not all information about a public figure warrents encyclopedic consideration, particularly when using opinion pieces as citations. We should try to stick to the facts as much as possible.

"frequently courts" could be seen as POV language and asserted that he is "in-character" without enough sourcing. Although I do like some of the re-organisation (putting the labor investigation more clearly under the barstool sports heading). TheWarOfArt (talk) 15:20, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Five paragraphs is not an especially long section (considering now there's several one-paragraph sections...), but we can break it off into subsections if that helps. I avoid catch-all "Controversy" sections when writing biographies and wanted to give that paragraph some context but have added more major sources as requested. It doesn't make sense to include things about him in the Barstool article but not his own biography. I haven't used opinion pieces anywhere, unless you're using a generous definition of "opinion piece".

One other thing is I removed "philanthropist" from the opening sentence because as far as I can tell his philanthropic activity has been limited to a one (or a few?) donations rather than regular and active participation in charity. I don't know if there's a guideline for that label but would be happy to change it if I've missed anything. I also don't know why you keep removing the subheadings, they make the page much more aesthicially pleasing and easier to read. And his mayoral run certainly deserves its own section, not a sub under barstool, as he was running as an individual and not in an capacity as the CEO of barstool sports.

I think his controversies are lacking in detail but this is also a BLP about someone who makes a living by converting controversies into clicks so I'm okay with this compromise. I re-added a bit about "El Presidente" because it comes up in virtually every source and the origins seem important.

For section headings I follow Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Layout#Paragraphs ("Short paragraphs and single sentences generally do not warrant their own subheading"), but this is subjective so I'm fine with it.
