About Timur

[edit]

Timur's battles have sadly been neglected on wikipedia with very few of his battles even having articles of their own. He is definitely on my list of people who I'm going to create some wiki articles about. I am currently researching the primary & secondary sources. Shah Ismael I and Shah Abbas the Great are also on the list of great leaders who need serious expansion to their wikipedia profile of battles. Parsa1993 (talk) 18:53, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much, Timur really needs some expansion. I am currently working on a Timurid Wars article, which will be similar to Naderian war article. I created some of the articles that had red links but the next day they were deleted, so you know why this happened?

Timur073767 (talk) 19:50, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently, if sufficient sources are not added in time or the article is too short to be considered "encyclopaedic", then an editor might delete it. It is very annoying for someone new to editing wikipedia, trust me I know. But if you make sure that the article is relatively lengthy and has sufficient sources, then it should be okay. Thanks Parsa, i'll make my artices more encyclopedic. Thanks for the support Timur073767 (talk) 00:50, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Yeah hi, theres clearly a mistake, since im not anyone's sock puppet. Since theres no possible way my IP address is the same as this guy i'm gonna assume this claim is based on Wikipedia:The duck test. VIA his edit history under his two most recent socks: User:History of Persia & User:Zandiyeh his recent edits are mostly about the Zand dynasty, Afsharid dynasty, Safavid dynasty and the Achaemenids. BUT his older edits under the sockmaster account (Artin Mehraban) were mostly about Azad Khan and Timur. I'm aware that the articles i created had originally been deleted because they were made by Artin Mehraban, but MY articles were organized into categories, and properly attributed where as the articles Artin Mehraban created were just paragraphs. Other than that i dont see how my behavior matches Artin's at all. The only kind of noticeable habit i have is not adding references to my articles. If you still have reason to believe i am a sock please say so below this unblock request so that i can rebuddle. Timur073767 (talk) 20:19, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified abuser of multiple accounts. --jpgordon::==( o ) 00:57, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is pretty clear behavioral evidence linking the accounts, but I'd prefer not to list it publicly because BEANS. Reviewing admin, if it's not clear to you and you'd like to know more, please contact me via email and I can walk you through the evidence that led to my conclusion. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:43, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I Clicked on the link this came up: "You must be logged in and have a valid  email address in your preferences to send email to other users.

Return to Main Page" How do I confirm my email? Timur073767 (talk) 23:27, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That offer is for the reviewing administrator. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 00:48, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

well you were the one who banned me but im ok talking to JP. What checkuser "evidence" do you have JP, so far the only evidence is my behavior VIA WP:DUCK Moonriddengirl is the one who investigated my case and was kindly willing to discuss the situation with me, but now you come along JP and immediately close the case. No oppurtunity for me to rebuddle or defend myself. Moonriddengirl is sadly now uninvolved with my case. User:Jpgordon if you would be kind enough to allow me to defend myself perhaps I can prove to you my innocence. I mean why JP, why involve yourself, I was on my way to discussing it with the guy (or gal) who banned me in the first place, she had done her homework and i was really looking forward to having a discussion with her. Your unexpected move honestly makes me a little less friendly to you and id rather talk to moonriddengirl. Of course Im not gonna kill myself to get back on wikipedia but this is unfair I didnt even do nothing wrong! If anyone cares to discuss my case my email is 073767170@gapps.yrdsb.ca
