Comment – The redirect Axios has 1,983 views/month and Axios (disambiguation) has 1,783 views/month, which to me indicates a significant number of readers looking for something else than the river. However, the significance of this three year old website is much more temporary. Not opposed to the disambiguation page occupying the base title again. – Thjarkur(talk)18:50, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Weak supportThis is a tough one! Axios the news site seems to be almost certainly the intended target for readers searching this term. And while I would say the river certainly has more long term notability (enough to overcome that reader interest if they had the same commonly used English name), when looking at the river as it is called Axios that is less clear.--Yaksar(let's chat)22:32, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose the second longest river of Greece is more notable than the website named after it. "A few miles east of Pella flows the Axios, draining much of the central Balkans." whereas Axios (website) is clearly a website. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:15, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The website is not named after the river, it's named after the Greek for "worthy". Also, there's no reason why a river should be more relevant than a website, it depends on the river and depends on the website. In this case, I would say that at least for the English Wikipedia, the website is currently more noteworthyEccekevin (talk) 08:42, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Move DAB to the base name per the above, no clear primary topic, by usage its the website, by long-term significance its the river, DAB is best compromise. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:30, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: It seems that most people agree that instead of moving "Axios (website)" to "Axios", I should've requested "Axios (disambiguation)" to "Axios". Is there anything procedurewise that needs to be done? Or someway to move this discussion to Talk:Axios (disambiguation)? BD2412 I'm pinging you since you're an admin. Nothing special needs to be done. The closing administrator will be able to handle the altered consensus without difficulty. BD2412T02:24, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I did some cleanup to address the tag added by RatedPending (talk·contribs). I removed the entirety of the large edit by brand-new editor AC1BT (talk·contribs), though the NYTimes refs should be considered for inclusion. I also removed content that was unreferenced or referenced only to Axios' own publications.
