• Brackets are commonly used (and is among several methods recommended by policy) as a form of disambiguation, in this case from other central executive committees. So no, it’s not necessarily “odd”. S5A-0043^Talk 12:56, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

• Support move but unsure of the best new title. PAP is highly ambiguous, see PAP#Organizations which also links to People's Action Party (disambiguation). So I'm thinking that we can do better than the current title. (CEC and Central Executive Committee are also ambiguous of course, that should perhaps go without saying but I said it anyway.) • Merge with People's Action Party - Per Sculture65. I believe it is not long enough at the moment to justify a separate article. • Propose Central Executive Committee (People's Action Party). This is because there are other significant organisations named "PAP" such as Pan-African Parliament. Although several parties worldwide are also named People's Action Party (disambiguation), the PAP of Singapore is the WP:PTOPIC by a wide margin. Therefore, ambiguity decreases significantly.
