Hi, I need help understanding why you rejected my page when I have written it from a neutral point of view. Also, the reference links are active and from well-known sources. What else do you need?
Could you please assist me in making this page live? I am open to adding or removing any content you suggest.
The page is clearly an advertisement and it appears here that your goal is promotional not educational. Wikipedia is encyclopedic entries, not promotional pieces. See WP:PROMO.
There is not enough coverage that leads me to believe NLB Services is notable enough for a Wikipedia page. See WP:GNG.
The fact that you are being paid to create this page and are prepared to do whatever it takes to get the page published is contrary to what Wikipedia is. I would recommend you do not resubmit the page for review. However, if you do, I will not review it a second time. Ktkvtsh (talk) 14:22, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Bushido77 I stand by my decision to reject the page. No other religions have a Wikipedia page dedicated to their form of martial arts. It is more of an WP:ESSAY and is not suitable for the Wikipedia main space.
I definitely disagree with your decision. I am new to Wikipedia and am becoming disheartened with the process. It seems that people make an arbitrary decision and that is final.
There are many Wikipedia pages about different types and styles of martial arts. Taekwondo for example has its own page. Yet that is an umbrella for many different taekwondo systems.
Is there no mediation process?
I find it very difficult to believe that one person can unilaterally reject valid Wikipedia information with no dispute process.
If you are correct, why did the first reviewer not tell me the same thing? They indicated to rewrite it in a more encyclopedic manner. I spent at least a month compiling and writing data, only to have you unilaterally reject it.
You can always submit the draft again. Simply place the draft template on your article, save it, and press submit. Then another reviewer will look at the page. Ktkvtsh (talk) 22:35, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. What is the "draft template"? And how do I put it on the article? Like I said, I am new to Wikipedia and was excited about contributing, but it is getting cumbersome and tedious. I don't mind working on improving articles, but a unilateral rejection with no recourse is very discouraging. Bushido77 (talk) 22:41, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ktkvtsh -- While I don't think this draft is headed for mainspace any time soon, it is hard to see how "More information is available here" meets the G11 criterion. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 05:50, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. After commenting on the Robert Heisner AfD, I went back in the history on Draft:Christian Martial Arts. I draftified it on September 24 as part of new page review (diff), so per WP:DRAFTOBJECT it should not have been draftified a second time without first being brought to AfD. Not sure if you want to self-revert but flagging for your awareness. (I agree with you that it's not remotely appropriate for mainspace and would vote to delete if it was brought to AfD.) Thanks for letting me know. Just to clarify, you said I should go in and revert its move to draft space? Wouldn't that place it back in main space? Ktkvtsh (talk) 21:55, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's the idea when someone objects to draftification (and returning a draft to mainspace is a form of objection). It would of course be immediately eligible for AfD. Dclemens1971 (talk) 22:01, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, you currently have a user script installed from Anne drew Andrew and Drew. Several weeks ago, I changed my username to Anne drew, and unfortunately, due to an issue with script redirects, the scripts you have installed under my old username no longer function.
