I have just joined the Kayaking project of which you are the coordinator. I have started out a couple of month ago by improving articles about canoe slalom, especially the canoe slalom world championships. Since then, I have moved on by creating new articles such as Canoe Slalom World Cup (now writing a separate article for each season), European Canoe Slalom Championships and some stub biographies of medalists from World Championships.
I was wondering if its ok to add all the articles I created within the scope of this project. You can see the list on my user page. I could also add the articles into the project page under new articles, but I am not sure if I should add them all or just the non-stub articles and what is considered a new article (I mean if the article is a month old, is it still considered new?). Thanks in advance for you guidance.
Hi Vladyreaper. Feel free to apply initiative to the Kayaking wikiproject - make youself the new co-ordinator if you like! I am no longer actively contributing to Wikipedia, sorry. Thanks for taking it on board --§Pumpmeup22:02, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that's too bad, because I don't feel like I have enough Wikipedia experience or expertise in the field of canoeing and kayaking to be a project coordinator. Anyway, thanks for your reply. -- Vladyreaper (talk) 22:09, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
⚠ Thanks for uploading File:Beautifulcreatures.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Hi! We're dropping you this rather unexpected message on your talk page because you signed up (either quite a while ago or rather recently) to be a member of the Vandalism Studies project. Sadly, the project fell into semi-retirement a few years ago, but as part of a new plan to fix up the Counter-Vandalism Unit, we're bringing back the Vandalism Studies project, with a new study planned for Late 2012! But we need your help. Are you still interested in working with us on this project? Then please sign up today! (even if you signed up previously, you'll still need to sign up again - we're redoing our member list in order to not harass those who are no longer active on the Wiki - sorry!) If you have any questions, please leave them on this page. Thanks, and we can't wait to bring the project back to life! -Theopolisme (talk) & Dan653 (talk), Coordinators
Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 1910submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.
Can you review submissions based on their individual merits?
If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.
We would greatly appreciate your help. Currently, only a small handful of users are reviewing articles. Any help, even if it's just 2 or 3 reviews, it would be extremely beneficial.
