There's a DYK entry on the main page right now for Feizi, which I created, but the DYKUpdateBot for some reason did not add a DYK notice on the article talk page or give DYK credit on the user talk page, as it normally does. Could you please check it out? Thanks! --Zanhe (talk) 18:06, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for making DYKCheck. It is awesome, and so, by extension, are you. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 23:08, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Hi. I found an error in the article (see photo). Copernicus was not a German, he was from Poland. --Top811 my talk —Preceding undated comment added 16:04, 12 May 2012 (UTC).
The last update was over four hours ago, and new hooks have been added to the nominations page in the interim, and I believe an approval or two (though I can't be sure about that). Does the bot need to be given a nudge to get going again? Thanks as always for your help (and for that bot!). BlueMoonset (talk) 16:39, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
The queue should have been updated 50 minutes ago, but wasn't. Hadn't realized that when I added the above note. Maybe both bots need restarting? Many thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 16:52, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Important note: as of not quite 15 minutes ago at 18:14 (UTC), the contents of Queue 5 were manually copied to the main page. However, the queue also remains in place—it has not been cleared—and no updates/notifications have been sent out. Please tread carefully when starting up the queue! Another admin may have come along in the interim, or things may remain as I describe them. Thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 18:28, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for that. My enquiry about DYK noms where the nom process had not been completed was largely ignored. How many other untranscluded noms have slipped through? --Redrose64 (talk) 16:15, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
You an administrator who is quite active at WP:DYK, so I wanted to call your attention to a particularly timely hook for the next queue Wikipedia_talk:Did_you_know#Possible_Queue_6_late_substitution_or_addition. You may want to make a late addition or substitution.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:27, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi Shub. Some time ago you were asked to apply an editprotected template at the U2 article. It is evident that there has been some misunderstanding as another English variant had been used at this page, as evidenced from the template still at the article TP. However the misunderstanding arose, the consensus seems in favour of restoring the former variant and replacing the current template. Perhaps you would care to comment at Talk:U2#Flagcruft. Regards. Is there an option that can be added to the individual user's .js script that would enable DYKCheck to specifically check for inline citations for all paragraphs in an article? That is to say, that if an entire paragraph had no citations, the checker would put that in its summary? Maile66 (talk) 13:55, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi: I looked at the template for Queue 5 and removed characters amidst the admin's signature, but I don't see anything in the bot's contribs indicating it has sent out a distress call and I have no idea how these things work, including whether what I found was the problem. Hoping you are online ... Yngvadottir (talk) 18:18, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
At least, if it's the one that updates the list of total DYK nominations and approved DYK nominations. It appears to have made its last update on Saturday, June 23 at 12:55 UTC.
Thanks for anything you can do to get it going again. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:06, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
Looks like it's down again, after a week of good service. Last update was Monday, July 2 at 21:12 UTC. Given the problems that Wikipedia has had today in terms of availability, I'm not surprised about any connectivity difficulties. Fortunately, DYKUpdateBot was still working at the subsequent midnight (UTC) update. Thanks in advance for getting it running again. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:06, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
