Georg Hackenschmidt is his name, but his ring (as in wrestling) name IS GEORGE Hackenschmidt, and all of his wrestling results list him as such. Next time please pay attention to what you edit, as George Hackenschmidt was listed as his "ring name(s)". not his real name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MackyMackn (talk • contribs)
While Nintendo stated at one point in time that this game took place a few decades after The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, they also stated at numerous times that it took place 100 years after Ocarina of Time. They also stated that it took place sometime after Ocarina of Time but before The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, even though a recent interview stated that the two games took place in entirely different timelines, one following the future ending of Ocarina of Time and one following the past ending. The game makes it QUITE clear that it is impossible to take place only a few decades after Ocarina of Time, as the Hero of Time is referred to as "the ancient hero" which refers to much more than a few decades, the Temple of Time is completely broken down which would take longer than a few decades, and Ganondorf is almost entirely forgotten, which would take more than a few decades. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DrZaius1 (talk • contribs)
The source is here. http://www.nindori.com/interview/154zelda/154int_02.html Since you most likely cannot read Japanese, I'll also paste the translation as it is provided on Wikipedia.
[Partial translation: "ND – About when is the Twilight Princess timeline set? Aonuma – In a world some hundred years after 'Ocarina of Time.' ND – And 'Wind Waker'? Aonuma – 'Wind Waker' is parallel. In 'Ocarina of Time,' Link jumps to a world seven years ahead, defeats Ganon, and returns to the time of his childhood, right? 'Twilight Princess' is a world some hundred years after that pacified childhood time."]
As you can see, this not only confirms the double timeline, but also shows that Twilight Princess now takes place some hundred years after Ocarina of Time, not a few decades. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DrZaius1 (talk • contribs)
Someone talked to me about that one time. They said that it goes in order of the announced matches, but they said the only exception is the main event is always listed first no matter what order the matches were announced in. - RYANonWIKIPEDIA
New user TJ Spike created a new account with a name similar to yours. He's been reverting every edit you've recently done and called it vandalism. He's using the name to attack you. If you have a DVR go back to the beginning of the match. Before The match begins you will see very long close ups on shawn and Cena, at one point michaels waves goodbye to the fan. If you rewind to before these, you will see a wide shot of the ring, and a man with no shirt and white shorts is in the ring. Other PPV's have made notes of happenings like this one and it is a logical note. You will hear JR say, "well we certainly appreciate the fans from all over the world..." I have a picture. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bartleby191 (talk • contribs) 02:55, 2 April 2007 (UTC).

Hey TJ, I found another description of the Jeff vs. Val match that took place before the 2000 Survivor Series and is included as an extra on the DVD. Thank you for your recent additions to this article. However they have been reverted due to: removal of tags asking for citations without providing references for said material, and restoring unreferenced material in violation of WP:LIVING policy. Please see WP:CITE for details on what are reliable sources and how to cite them in the article. Your cooperation bringing this article in line is appreciated. RFerreira 08:22, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, I think enough editors wanted them to stay as stubs for future expansion. Recasting them as redirects would discourage this. My personal opinion FWIW is that they are cruft and I would have preferred to see them deleted or recast as redirect. Herostratus 20:23, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Should this be added when the DVD comes out, if it gets edited out? 24.191.99.78 03:58, 5 April 2007 (UTC)SocBy19
Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, has said time and time again that unsourced biographies are not to be permitted, and that adding a series of cite tags and walking away from the article is equally unacceptable. [5] There are serious implications at stake every time we get it wrong, and these policies are in place for just that reason. Its frustrating that such a large segment is so poorly sourced, use this as an opportunity to make necessary improvements as they are identified. This does not mean reverted back to unsourced material in the meantime until reliable sources can be found, if they even exist. If you have any further comments regarding this, please direct them to the current thread on WP:AN for community consideration. Thank you, Can't sleep, clown will eat me 04:19, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, I'm sorry you think that. However, I do feel it is notable, and it was notable enough that the announcers usually mentioned it, so I honestly don't understand why you think it hurts to have it on there. --Leandar 23:46, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm having the same problem as you bp3:16. That, and half my talkpage has magically become bold, or it looks like it on my computer. I checked, and it doesn't look like a coding problem. Wikipedia must me screwing up. Peace, -- The Hybrid
Adding in your own personal warning isn't acceptable, and is certainly a sign of controlling in my opinion. I added a talk page section for it: but I can bet only a few people will respond there, which isn't much of a consensus. I think I might consider a request for comment for outside opinions on this: as a lot of wrestling fans (and friends of yours) will obviously be baised to keep some cruft. The dance segment didn't affect the event itself: it's certainly not notable. It was a backstage segment to use time, just as the Boogey Man/Donald Trump segment was (which no one is adding anymore, as it's useless cruft like the dancing is). RobJ1981 05:37, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Why does this PPV even have an article yet? It won't be happening for another year almost. -- The Hybrid 08:25, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, the editor on the NYR 2006 page I think, uses a good style for the elimination moves. It's on a few other pages as well. In regards to the difference in fans and non-fans, it still makes sense. A non-fan can just click on the moves that they don't know about and find out about them, which is probably what an encyclopedia was invented for, your thoughts? TheHeartbreakKid15 00:06, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
I disagree there. It wouldn't work if it wasn't in the table, but because it's in the layout of a table, it gets away with it. TheHeartbreakKid15 00:28, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Despite the disagreement on Chris Jericho it could still be a coincidence you just happened to follow my edits on the infobox straightaway, but I've reverted them. Merging the information from the Don Harris and Ron Harris (wrestler) articles into the Harris Brothers article would have meant losing the edit histories of both articles. Moving Ron Harris (wrestler) to Don and Ron Harris and redirecting Don Harris and Harris Brothers to this page enabled the page to retain the edit history of the Ron Harris (wrestler) article, which is considerably more detailed than the Harris Brothers edit history. Moreover, Don and Ron Harris seemed somewhat less ambiguous than Harris Brothers, given that a Google search for "Harris Brothers" does not refer exclusively to the wrestlers. McPhail 01:31, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Christy Whitman was NOT made an honorary WWE Champion; she was simply presented with a WWE Championship for her achievement in the same style Linda McMahon presented Laura Bush with one, WWE presented the Detroit Pistons with one for winning the 2005 Finals and when TNA presented David Eckstein with an X-Division Championship. The child made on-screen decisions and therefore should be added. Thank you for your concern, but I will re-add it. — Chad "1m" Mosher Email Talk Cont. 21:45, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Sometimes, Wikipedia doesn't update its cache properly or something, so some new images may not show up initially. Sometimes it is your browser that's the problem. CTRL-click on the refresh button can make a difference, as can clearing your cache. Not sure if that is what the problem was here, though. --Yamla 02:15, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Look at the broadcast. They said on the beginning that Vince McMahon made the match a No Disqualification match on Sunday Night Heat. Also, even if Mankind was the Special Guest Referee, he wasn't the referee since the beginning of the match. Three normal referees were taken down before Mankind shows in the final moments of the match and took his referee duties. Xbox6 22:06, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't mean to patronizing, and I don't mean to sound offensive but I feel I need to tell you this in a looking out for you sort of way. You are overall a good contributor this project but I feel you need to watch yourself when it comes to being civil and edit warring and 3RR, especially if you want to be a good admin someday. I've seen several instances where I've sighed and said to myself "why did he say that? people are gonna take that as a personal attack and this gonna screw him for RfA." I noticed that you added citation needed tags to my edit. Rather than just having an edit war over it, I decided to talk to you directly. I wrote it in such a way that citation is not needed; it should be "common knowledge." It is obvious that the Wii uses a four digit code, so no citation is needed. As for the second part, this is also a common knowledge statement, as this is a well known hacking trick. Again, it is obvious, at least to any Wii owner, that there is no limit on how many times one may input the code. It is also known that for a simple four digit numeric password, the number of times needed, plus a little luck, are not too high. As mentioned, even removing one number from the equation will drastically lower the number times needed. Two is just child's play. A computer could easily handle the task in under a second. I look forward to your response. --RockMaster-talk|contribs 01:33, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Well, where would you find a source for the first part? Who would write about such a thing? As for the second, it's really just math, and can be solved with a simple mathmatical equation. Permutations to be exact. Should that be mentioned in the article? --RockMaster-talk|contribs 18:17, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
I see Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/TJ Spyke discussed above. Here's a little administrator coaching for you: The best contributors to AFD discussions are those that give good rationales that are in accordance with our Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, based upon efforts to find, to cite, and to evaluate sources. As Wikipedia:Deletion policy says, we don't delete articles because they don't happen to cite sources right now. We delete articles because they are unverifiable. That means that both the article cites no sources and reasonable efforts to find sources on your part come up empty handed. One of the very points of AFD, as explained by the Wikipedia:Guide to deletion, is that it involves more than just two pairs of eyes, putting multiple layers of swiss cheese into the process by having more than just two editors look for sources. That process doesn't work if all that any editors do is come along and say "It doesn't cite sources. Delete it!". That is actually one of the poorest contributions that one can make to an AFD discussion, and one that can lead to quite egregious errors occurring. If you want to be a good AFD contributor, and indeed a good Wikipedia editor in general, always do the research and look for sources. Uncle G 03:41, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

The Deuce N' Domino vs Kendrick and London match for the WWE Tag Team Championship was NOT announced on WWE.com, and therefore should be taken off of the Backlash page. Although there was a small reference to a possible match in the Power 25, there is absolutely no indication of it on the official Backlash website. You can see it here for verification: http://www.wwe.com/shows/backlash/
That match should be removed from the Backlash 2007 page immediately. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jsimon510 (talk • contribs) 02:18, 29 March 2007 (UTC.
