This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Indonesia. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
Adding a new AfD discussion
Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Indonesia|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
Other types of discussions
You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Indonesia. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

@Everywiki: That article you're comparing this to is adequately sourced, whereas this article only has one source where the topic is barely mentioned (which is the reason why it is considered "too soon"). CycloneYoristalk!20:25, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Redirect to Elections in Indonesia It is TOOSOON because there is no sourced information in the article specific to the 2029 election. If we had opinion polls or confirmed candidates then I would be in favour of keeping. However, the candidate list is entirely unsourced. Number5701:18, 15 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Keep: It's standard practice to create articles for the next election as soon as the current election is over, even if the date is variable/not known e.g. Next United Kingdom general election, Next Spanish general election. The issue with the date can be easily resolved by renaming the article Next Indonesian presidential election and removing any reference to the date in the article. Similarly, any other unsourced content such as potential candidates can be removed or, here's a novel idea, editors can try to find sources. Disappointed to see an election from a developing country, the third largest democracy in the world, where more than 200 million people will be eligible to vote, being nominated for deletion when we have an election from a developed nation where just 20,000 people were eligible to vote making it to the front page. WP:BLP of an actor and model, not properly sourced as having any strong claim to passing inclusion criteria for actors or models. As always, actors and models are not automatically entitled to have Wikipedia articles just because they exist, and have to be shown to pass certain specific markers of achievement supported by reliable source coverage -- but the attempted notability claim here is staked entirely on supporting or bit parts in films that don't even have Wikipedia articles about the films, and the article is sourced entirely to short blurbs and public relations fluff rather than substantive WP:GNG-worthy coverage. Nothing here is "inherently" notable enough to exempt him from having to have better referencing than this. Bearcat (talk) 15:45, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Keep: Significant roles (including various lead roles) in series and films (that have a Wikipedia page in Indonesian/Malay) and received coverage in those languages and, to a lesser extent, in English. The page needs expansion
