Rossi

When you delete sourced information, and revert another editor over two days to keep the content out, you should open the discussions since you didn't actually provide a clear reason for why you are removing it. In your initial edit summary you did not mention OTRS, but in the revert you imply you are working in response to an OTRS although you referenced no ticket. IRWolfie- (talk) 23:04, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

OTRS ticket

Could you please explain at Talk:Andrea Rossi (entrepreneur) what the significance of your posting of an OTRS ticket template is? What purpose is this intended to serve? Are you suggesting that article content should be in any way amended on the basis that a ticket has been issued? If this is the case can you please tell us (a) what changes you are proposing should be made, and (b) on what policy-based grounds can the issuing of a ticket be held to justify such changes. As far as I'm, aware, a ticket merely indicates that the WMF has received an e-mail: such a posting cannot be understood as an instruction from the WMF regarding article content, or indeed as evidence that it is actually relevant to the article, without further communication. AndyTheGrump (talk) 23:51, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

AfD discussions again

You appear to close AfD discussions at a startling rate, giving each discussion only a few seconds to a minute even for quite lengthy discussions. Can you please confirm that you don't just head count and that you read and weigh up the actual consensus. For an example, can you please explain how you read this entire discussion in a minute: [1]. RE: Anthera Pharma

Hey, I re-instituted the edits. I think the problem was with the citation being incorrectly formatted and incorrect, and I've fixed both errors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dclutz (talkcontribs) 03:43, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Deleted Article- Om Swami

Dear LFaraone,

We have added two featured newspaper articles of Om Swami published in The Times of India/Speaking Tree, a leading daily newspaper in India, one article where his profile was published in the same newspaper and his TV interview in ATN, one of the TV channels in Toronto to support his notability. We are in the process of adding more sources as they become available to us. Based on the sources we have so far, I would request you to please restore this article. Hello LFaraone, I was wondering if you would like to re-consider your closing decision on the deletion discussion listed above. I intend to pursue this via the DRV process, however, as a courtesy, I am running this by you first. Thanks, — Nearly Headless Nick {c} 11:49, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Ah, yes. Agreed that the lack of policy-based arguments does not constitute a reasonable discussion, reopened. Thanks for the poke. LFaraone 12:25, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. — Nearly Headless Nick {c} 16:26, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

Have time on Saturday?

I'm sorry for the last-minute notice, but on Saturday, June 8, from 3 to 6 PM, Wikimedia DC and the Cato Institute are hosting a Legislative Data Meetup. We will discuss the work done so far by WikiProject U.S. Federal Government Legislative Data to put data from Congress onto Wikipedia, as well as what more needs to be done. If you have ideas you'd like to contribute, or if you're just curious and feel like meeting up with other Wikipedians, you are welcome to come! Be sure to RSVP here if you're interested.

I hope to see you there!

Deleted Article- Anno Domini Beats

Dear LFaraone,

recently the article I wrote about Anno Domini Beats, which had contributions by several different authors as well as a multitude of sources was deleted before I had a chance to implement any further changes. If you run a google search on Anno Domini Beats you will find over 1 million hits and we would like to add more tv interviews, journal articles and further sources of repute, if you would kindly restore the page? Anno Domini Beats is one of the best-known Hip Hop production teams and responsible for a multitude of international platinum-selling albums and there are several articles on Wikipedia for other production outfits so we feel that the knowledge pooled at Wikipedia is incomplete without the article. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gadsen Records

How can you call Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gadsen Records a Keep. A vauge claim that there is some coverage and a link to a corporate page doesn't come close to being Keep. duffbeerforme (talk) 15:41, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Sajid Khan (director)

I am ok with it if you want to not have those informations in his filmography as each of those film articles mention them anyway. Those informations can be sourced, but I don't have the energy to do so. Happy editing--Isaacsirup (talk) 01:50, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

Deletion of Knowledge Management Professional Society

"A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Knowledge Management Professional Society is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted."

Regarding the above, I'm beginning to collect what I think are secondary sources but am having a problem getting a clear explanation as to what is acceptable or at least what is not acceptable. Drdan01 (talk) 01:13, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

Miller Transporters Inc. Page Deletion

I have another source to add to the article. I am wondering how to get the page up again. How do pages like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime,_Inc., http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USF_Holland, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werner_Enterprises, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_Truck, and others still exist?

I think if Prime Inc. exists then Miller Transporters Inc. should be able to. Please help me figure out how to get the article to stay up. We have an additional source here http://www.thetrucker.com/News/Stories/2012/12/14/MillerTransportersearnsmagazinesawardforquality.aspx

Hello LFaraone, thank you for your contributions to an article I was working on. Members of the community believed that the article was written in a biased manner, which was entirely my fault. I re-wrote the article with a strict neutral tone using only the most reputable sources and went through AfC very quickly. Unfortunately, I was unaware of that a Deletion Review was necessary so it was flagged for a Speedy Deletion due to a re-creation of an article that was deleted under AfD. This is an article on a subject that I've worked hard for and done a lot of research on, and it is entirely my fault for failing to write in neutral tone. What can I do to have the new and improved article under review? I looked through the Deletion Review page and found that it is best to get in touch with you first. Thanks again, I look forward to hearing from you. Vancitystars (talk) 19:29, 19 June 2013 (PST)

Why did you relist this? There was a clear consensus to keep - and relisting, especially multiple times, needs to be justified. Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 16:46, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

The discussion as it existed at that time would have benefited from further input. LFaraone 01:43, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
This explanation would have sufficed for the first relisting, but not for the second. I would like to ask for elaboration on this. Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 02:24, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Per WP:RELIST, debates are commonly relisted twice without the need for discussion; that's generally reserved for a third relist. (In practice, most debates are closed before a third relist, even if only as no consensus).
That said, to focus on the additional discussion in between the first and second relists, neither of the commenters made policy-based arguments, and therefore did not sufficiently contribute to consensus.
In any case, it has been 8 days since the article was relisted; an administrator should close this any time now. LFaraone 02:35, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Carr Collins, Jr.

Is there a way that I can request to have the deleted page made available for me to maintain in user space? Robert McClenon (talk) 00:57, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Done, User:Robert McClenon/Carr Collins, Jr.. Please read and familiarise yourself with WP:USERFY; most notably, pages that are not improved over long periods of time are subject to redeletion without discussion. LFaraone 01:04, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. But that is the version of the article that was proposed for deletion, and not the improved version after I added information to it. Thank you. But is there any way that you can find the final version of the article before it was deleted? Robert McClenon (talk) 02:28, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
You can restore an earlier version from the article history. LFaraone 02:31, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

I am confused as why you closed it as no consensus when, there was two votes for Merge, two to delete and one (the creator of the article) arguing to keep it without a policy backed argument. Mixtapes clearly fail WP:NALBUM, and there are not enough wide reliable source coverage to support passing WP:GNG. STATic message me! 01:08, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Revised to merge. There was not a clear consensus for delete vs. merge, but I guess we can decide it as the less severe option of the two since no further discussion happened after two relists. LFaraone 01:21, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for that. I was willing boldly merge or redirect the article, I was just certain that the creator of the article would attempt to revert the edit like he did prior to the AfD. STATic message me! 01:41, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
